Safety Horizon Limited is owned by Colin Nottage and Mark Stallard. We are health, safety and environmental management professionals with significant manufacturing, distribution & sales/marketing experience. We are resourceful, goal driven achievers with proven people management skills. We are self-starters who are decisive & effective with individuals & groups.

Colin has a degree in Quarry Engineering and a post-graduate certificate in Safety and Risk Management from Strathclyde University. He has also achieved an NVQ level 5 in safety, health and environmental management in quarries. His enthusiasm is balanced by a calm and assertive approach. Since graduating in 1990 he has held a number of senior posts within both operational and health and safety management. Colin’s most recent role prior to establishing Safety Horizon was National Health, Safety and Insurance Manager for Hanson Aggregates, the international quarrying company. Colin has Graduate membership of IOSH.

Mark has diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety Management and Environmental Management. He also possesses excellent people skills which reflect his proactive approach to behavioural safety. Since 1998 Mark has gained a wealth of managerial experience and has held several senior posts in operational, supply chain and health and safety covering the U.K and Europe. These positions have been held within a broad range of industries such as quarrying, recycling, waste management and manufacturing. Mark is a member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
